Today, Myanmar is the country with a lot of potentials and rich natural resources in South East Asia but only because of the Military Government,Myanmar become one of the least developing countries in the Region.

I am not totally saying that the present military government is not doing anything for our country but if we keep on going like this for the next three to four years or so, I think we will going to repeat the things that happened in 1988. And most of the people would know how terrible is 1988 political upheaveal, I don't think nobody wants to repeat it again.

Myanmar's economy has been hit hard by the Asian Economic Crisis,not directly but we are suffering from the consequences of that economic crisis.
Because of that economic crisis,the countries like Thailand,Malaysia,Indonesia,Singapore and Japan that invest very heavily on Myanmar either stop or reduce the investments in Myanmar. And it will probably take another 6 to 7 years to recover,see for example,Thailand never fully recover till today of the Asian Currency Crisis although it appears to be stablise but compare to how Thailand is growing rapidly before the economic Crisis.

Because we are serving Trade Sanction from United States of America and European Union,it will probably hard to convince the Western Companies to invest in Myanmar and there are also a lot of risks apart from the sanction.

There are a lot of things need to change in Myanmar and we have to change in quick.Remember,we are already 26 to 30 years behind the country like Singapore in all aspects as Myanmar has been under socialist government rules from 1962 to 1988. I don't think changing the government power to opposition Daw Aung San Su Kyi can change everything in Myanmar(the idea that most Myanmar people have in mind). Finally,I want to see my country become better in next one or two years time. I will hope for the best to come as all the burmese people does.
